One of Boo Boo’s favorite things to do these days is pick up sticks. He seeks them wherever he goes, whether we’re at the park or strolling the block. Our strolls are a nice thing to do when the weather is nice and I don’t have time to take Boo Boo to the park.
Toddlers are kind of like dogs when it comes to walking them. Dogs have their regular nooks and crannies they like to sniff and hydrants and trees they like to pee on. If Boo Boo weren’t wearing a diaper I’m sure he’d enjoy peeing like the dogs do. Boo Boo has his plants that he likes to greet and gates that he needs to open and close and open and close and open and close. There are neighbors he needs to stare at and leaves he needs to crunch. And now he’s added picking up sticks to his agenda. He likes the small ones best and usually one will end up back at our apartment, tucked into his little hands as contraband.
Here’s what captured Boo Boo’s attention during our walk yesterday.
